Farmer aims to run tractors on homemade biofuel

Luca Remmert, La Bellotta Farm Manager: "It really is the last step (converting to a bio-methane plant). It means that this farm could at some point be run with zero hydrocarbons and we will be able to say that it is completely self-sustainable. Here at La Bellotta, we call ourselves a sustainable agro-energetic farm. With this last step, environmental sustainability, but also economic sustainability, will allow us to reach complete efficiency."
